After Homer and the family inherits some money from his late Great Aunt Hortense, Marge get the kids to put their money in a bank account. Bart soon starts writing cheques to people in the hope that they will sign it, he is dissapointed however, to find that Krusty has neglected to sign the cheque. Bart goes to the bank but is informed that there is nothing wrong with simply stamping the cheque, thanks to Bart though, Krusty is soon arrested for tax fraud. Not long after Krusty "dies" and Bart is wracked with guilt. Soon though, Bart is sure that Krusty is still alive, after no one will believe him, he asks for Lisa's help. In the end, they find Krusty making a new start and although at first he is reluctant, they eventually win him over, and he goes back on to television once more.
