Michigan

Michigan is a geopolitical subdivision of the North American continent of Earth, originally formed as part of the nation-state of the United States of America prior to Earth's unification.
One of the major cities located in Michigan was Detroit. In 2154, Captain Jonathan Archer and Subcommander T'Pol were sent back in time to the city in 2004 by temporal agent Daniels. (ENT episode: "Carpenter Street")
Erika Hernandez was also been in the city of the Detroit in the early 22nd century. (ENT episode: "Home")
Several Federation starships have been named the USS Michigan in honor of this location.
