The USS Tripoli (NCC-19386) was a Hokule'a-class Federation starship in service in the 24th century. (ST reference: Star Trek Encyclopedia)
In 2338, the Tripoli, commanded by Captain Thorsson responded to the distress call from the colony on Omicron Theta after it was destroyed by the Crystalline Entity. Its crew discovered the deactivated Soong-type android Data. (TNG episode: "Datalore"; TNG novel: Mystery of the Missing Crew)
In the late 2360s, the Tripoli was serving as a holding vessel for starship components at the Qualor II surplus depot. In 2368, the Tripoli was removed from its position and all components were instead delivered to an unnamed smuggler ship. (TNG novelization: Unification)
The Tripoli would later participate in the fight against Dominion forces during the Dominion. (DS9 episode: "In the Pale Moonlight")
