The galaxy was swept into darkness when forces joined together, calling themselves the Combined Armies. The darkness was followed by a shadow that covered all, when the Grey Alliance brought destruction and chaos, claiming to want to bring balance to the galaxy. Both destroyed worlds, and lives. Both were defeated.

It is the eye of the storm...

The New Republic forges an alliance with the Corporate Sector and the Hapans. Re-elect Ella Amala of Kuat, as Chancellor and see the retirement of their beloved Star Dragon Rihl'nuhl'zhan who is replaced with Yrzan Quarech as Grand General of the Republic Army.

The Jedi Order move to Tython. Where they train, regroup, and work with the locals on the near forgotten world. Rebuilding the Jedi Order, their archives, and trying to cope without their Grandmaster, Kalen Amass.

The Remnant, who strikes out on occasion, suffered an embarrassing loss when attacking the world of Anaxes. Then are betrayed at Naboo by one of their own. With the Sith their silence in the darkness will not last. Many wait for the day when the two will strike out again.

Under new leadership the Mandalorians return to the ways of old. Going from one planet to the next, in the Outer Rim. Destroying all in their path. Wishing to lay waste to the Outer Rim worlds, with their renewed Mandalorian Crusade.

And the criminal life continues to grow, expand. Touching all areas of our galaxy. The secretive guild, the Ca Werda, rises to new heights. While the Black Sun is reborn.

The past has shown one threat rising after another. When all think peace has been found, something knew (and sometimes something old) rises from the ashes. Bringing with them more pain and suffering than what they had faced before. Will the year 48 ABY bring true peace for those who live in this galaxy? Or will peace be known as nothing more than a dream?
